We have been made aware of a customer complaint regarding low water pressure which is allegedly correlated with sprinkler use. In order to help mitigate instances of low pressure service, we intend to call for voluntary action to restrict outdoor watering until October 1, 2015.
Customers at hookups with addresses which end in an odd number may water outdoors on any odd-numbered day;
Customers at hookups with addresses which end in an even number may water outdoors on any even-numbered day.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but thank you for your cooperation. Please note, this would be a restriction only on outside watering, i.e., lawn sprinkling. You would be able to use indoor water (for bathing, washing clothes, cooking, etc.) as you normally would. Although this proposed action may not be as effective as metering, it may help mitigate the issues of asserted low pressure. The sprinkling restrictions will begin July 1, 2015.
Therefore, if your address is an odd number, you may water outdoors on odd-numbered days until October 1, 2015. If your address is an even number, you may water outdoors on even-numbered days until October 1, 2015. In order that the restriction is fair, we ask that no one water on the 31st day of any month.
If you have any questions regarding this action, please contact us at 442-2949. Thank you
